There are many people in the bible that their story would just highly inspire us. From being slave to handling high positions. This morning my mother and I had a great conversation about faith especially with faced with the unknown. She told me she knows and believes God can wipe out this virus in the face on the earth in just a snap. We hope for it to be soon, but while it isn’t we can’t help but ask what good would come out of this?Continue reading “What Good Will Come out of This?”
“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.””Deuteronomy 31:8 ESV
We want to be on top of the things. To know what’ll happen and prepare for it, because, somehow knowing what lies ahead gives us sense of security. But as much as we want to, we are limited – that is when fear and anxiety cripples in.Continue reading “He Goes Before You”
I always love having pen and paper with me. Few of the tools that helps me get a clearer view of the many things I have in mind – the things I hope and pray for in the future.

“Am I pursuing God for who He is or is it just because I want to gain His favor in order to get something?”
Have you ever raised a brow about something you read in the bible? Yup, I do – almost all the time. But when you start pondering about it, that’s the time when your raised up brow becomes a smile of approval. This was my reaction when I read about the story of Rahab and the spies. Very familiar one, but is always relevant to this day and age. Two points to ponder from the second chapter of Joshua.
It was our third day, a time to discover Taiwan’s hidden gems on the province side. Welcomed by the day with drizzles in Taipei. It was a very exciting itinerary for that day as we head for Yin Yang Sea, Jiufen, and Pingxi. Continue reading “Lēe hò, Taiwan (Part 3)”
I am not sure what time I woke up but I sure woke up early (or did I ever sleep? haha!). Haha! I messaged my mum good morning and then quietly prepare to take the shower (hopefully I was quiet enough to let them sleep for a few more minutes). We started off by getting a mobile wifi, we tried renting at our hotel but they were asking for our passport – of course we are foreigners of the land so we can’t give our passport easily.
